Rubies can be found in the Sunlit Plateau location, Vitalys Mines, which can be unlocked from the new Scar update. The doorway to this area will be next to Goofy’s Stall in this particular region, as shown in the image above. Once inside the Vitalys Mines, you can mine Rubies from illuminated rocks throughout the location. However, those who want to acquire more gems can accompany a Disney character with a mining boost. If you aren’t sure which cast members have this enhancement, you can go to ‘Collections’ and select ‘Characters’ to see their Hangout Bonus. Then, players can gather a ton of gems in Vitalys Mines, which they can either keep for future quests or sell to Goofy. Sometimes Rubies can be easy enough to find, where you’ll be able to notice their distinct red color: In some cases, the gems won’t appear from the outside, but they will drop down once you’ve finished mining the rock with the Pickaxe. After you’ve collected the items, you can sell one Ruby for 1,000 Star Coins or exchange a Shiny Ruby for 4,000 Star Coins.
